SMOKE A FAT ONE - AWARD WINNING BARBEQUE!

Steve’s most important award received to date was from the United States Army in November of 2004. This was for outstanding support of the soldiers and families of the Arrowhead Brigade Combat Team from Fort Lewis. He and 6 other teams cooked and served 3500 soldiers that had just returned from Iraq and their families a barbecue dinner. Steve realized as the soldiers walked by and shook hands with him that there could be no greater award for learning the art of BBQ.
